Fourth Avenue ("F" to "G" Streets) and on Third Avenue ("H" to "1"

Perry Electric has completed the installation of street lights on Fourth Avenue ("F" to "G"
Streets) and on Th rd Avenue ("H" to II I" Streets) in accordance with the contract awarded
by Council Resolut on No. 10198, adopted on July 25, 1980. It is my
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council accept the public improvements on Third and Fourth
Avenues.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable
DISCUSSION:
The work consisted of installing City owned street lights in conjunction with utility
undergrounding on Third and Fourth Avenues. A final inspection was made on May 26,1981.
The work was completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer and it is now appropriate
that the City accept this project.
NOTE: The extraordinary delay in completing this project was due to a revised SDG&E
schedule for energizing underground electrical service points.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The total cost to the City for this project was $34,997.00, broken down as follows:
