RESOLUTION NO. 9909
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA DEDICATING AND NAMING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
AS NORTH SECOND AVENUE
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista that that certain grant of real property
made by quitclaim deed executed by the County of San Diego and
accepted by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista by
Resolution No. 8483, dated January 25, 1977, and more particularly
described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference as if set forth in full, be, and the same is hereby
dedicated to the public use for street purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said real property is
hereby officially named North Second Avenue.

A strip of land 60 feet wide within Quarter Sections 126 and 135
of Rancho de la Nacion, according to Hap No. 166, filed May 11,
1869, in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County,
the centerline of which is described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said Quarter Section 135 per
Record of Survey Map No. 8085 filed April 2, 1976, at the office
of said County Recorder; thence North 19001'00" West along East
line of Quarter Section 135, a distance of 2.80 feet to a point
on a tangent curve, concave Southwesterly, having a radius of
400 feet; thence Northerly along said curve, through a central
angle of 22016'00", a distance of 155.45 feet; thence tangent to
said curve North 41017'00" West, a distance of 222.18 feet to
a point on a tangent curve, concave Southwesterly, having a radius
of 400 feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve, through a
central angle of 06002'23", a distance of 42.17 feet; thence
tangent to said curve North 47019'23" West, a distance of 25.51
feet to a point on a tangent curve, concave Northeasterly,
having a radius ofl,OOO feet; thence Northwesterly along said
curve through a central angle of 11040'00", a distance of 203.62
feet; thence tangent to said curve North 35039'23" West, a distance
of 51.59 feet to a point on a tangent curve, concave Southwesterly,
having a radius of 400 feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve
through a central angle of 20040'00", a distance of 144.28 feet;
thence tangent to said curve, North 56019'23" West, a distance of
44.29 feet to a point on a tangent curve, concave Easterly having
a radius of 400 feet; thence Northerly along said curve through
a central angle of 68023'16", a distance of 477.44 feet; thence
tangent to said curve; North 12003'53" East, a distance of 289.97
feet to a point on a tangent curve, concave Westerly, having a
radius of 400 feet; thence Northerly along said curve through a
central angle of 20011'05" a distance of 140.92 feet, to a point
on the Northerly line of the Clare Haven Subdivision according to
said Record of Survey Map No. 8085; said point being distant
152.93 feet South 70058'08" West from the Clare Haven Northeasterly
corner concrete monument as found on said Record of Survey Map
No. 8085.
The sides of the above described strip of property shall be
lengthened or shortened as necessary to terminate at the Northerly
line of Clare Haven Subdivision according to Record of Survey Map
No. 8085 and at the Southerly line of Quarter Sections 135 and
126 according to Record of Survey Map No. 8085.

of-way line of Edgemere Avenue as shown on County Road Survey
No. 670, on file in the office of the County Surveyor of San

a distance of 477.11 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, said
point alsQ being on a curve concave Westerly having a radius of
370 feet, a radial line to said point bears North 82046'37" East;
thence Northerly along said curve through an angle of 22008'39",
a distance of 143.00 feet to the intersection with the State
Route 54 Right-of-Way line which bears North 42014'14" East
(North 43033'12" East per State Highway Right-of-Way Map No.
49510); thence North 42014'14" East along said Right-of-Way line
a distance of 15.75 feet; thence North 54047'02" East (North
56006'00" East as shown on State Highway Map 196 as recorded on

County) along the said Right-of-Way line a distance of 45.23 feet;
