a.ved Chula Vista Drawing No. 88-346. This plan is one of a set of
i vement plans for the widening of Otay Lakes Road between Camino
del Cerro Grande and Ridgeback Road. This widening provides for four
lanes of traffic. The work is being performed by Rancho del Rey
Partnership (McMillin Development) as part of a DIF project.
Within the widening project a private road intersects Otay Lakes Road.
The private road serves four hillside lots created by Parcel Maps No.
7650 and No. 8957. The road is quite steep and to prevent the storm
water from shooting across Otay Lakes Road, the engineer of work
proposes to install a trench drain across the end of the private
street.
This proposal was approved by the Acting City Engineer and can be
installed only after an Encroachment Permit is approved. In accordance
with Section 12.28.020, all permanent encroachments must be approved by
the City Council.
