These contracts have been adjusted to reflect new salary and workload levels. RECOMMENDATION: That Council approve these agreements. . BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable. DISCUSSION: In developing the service fees for National city and Imperial Beach, the formula is based on the number of animals each jurisdiction brings into the shelter, and this number is applied as a percentage against the cost to operate the shelter for Fiscal Year 88/89 as follows: Animals Brought Into Shelter Chula vista National city Imperial Beach 3,750 1,228 755 Percentage Cost to Proposed of Maintain Annual Total Shelter Fee 65.4% 118,816 N/A 21.4% 118,816 $25,426 13.2% 118,816 15,837 FISCAL IMPACT: These contracts will provide a base revenue to the City of $41,263 for the fiscal year, plus 1% service/billing charge each month.
