The truck is in the current Animal Regulation budget. RECOMMENDATION: That Council: Accept bids and award contract to South Bay Chevrolet Company in the amount of $5,127.29. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable DISCUSSION: Bids were received from the following vendors: BIDDER AMOUNT South Bay Chevrolet Co. $4,837.07 Chula Vista, CA Courtesy Chevrolet 5,350.00 San Diego, CA City Chevrolet 5,440.03 San Diego, CA The low bid submitted by South Bay Chevrolet Co. meets specifications and is acceptable. FISCAL IMPACT: Funds required for the purchase, including sales tax, are $5,127.29. Account 100-1100-5565 provides $5,400 for the purchase of this vehicle.
