The Proposition passed by a vote of 7,389 to 3,733. The Registrar of Voters has just billed the City for the cost of that election. RECOMMENDttiT10N: Approve the resolution providing for the payment o the election costs. BOARD AND COMMISSIONS RECOI~AIENDAT30N: Not applicable. DFSCUSSION: The total cost of the November 6, 1979 Election was 929,230, The pro rata share of the cost for the one Proposition placed on this ballot is $6,045.85. Since this special election was not budgeted, it is necessary to appropriate the necessary funds.
