In accordance with Section 15.32.150 of the Chula Vista Municipal Code, City Council Resolution No. 9450 states that the City Council shall, by subsequent resolution, fix the date on which affected property owners must be ready to receive underground service and the date poles,overhead wires and associated over- head structures shall be removed. The Underground Utility Advisory Committee on September 5, 1979, approved the following schedule for the undergrounding district. Start of Construction Date for Customers to be Ready to Receive Underground Service Within the District Completion of the Undergrounding Work October 1, 1979 January 7, 1980 March 7 , 1980 A transparency is available for Council viewing. The 79-80 CIP includes a project to install City owned, decorative street lighting on Fourth Avenue and on "FI' Street in conjunction with the undergrounding project. Advertising for bids to install street lights on pre-stressed concrete poles will start on 10/7/79. The street lights are scheduled to be operational in January 1980.
