REORGANIZATION" INVOLVING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AND THE DETACHMENT OF THE TERRITORY FROM THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT ZONE 3 The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, pursuant to the District Reorganization Act of 1965, commencing with Section 5600 of the Government Code, the City of Chula Vista received from ADMA Company, Inc. an application proposing a reorganization consisting of the following changes of organization: 1. Annexation of territory to the City of Chula Vista as shown on Exhibit A and more particularly described on Exhibit B. 2. Detachment of territory described in Exhibit B from the San Diego County Flood Control District, Zone 3. WHEREAS, the City approved the boundaries of said ADMA Company, Inc. Reorganization and the staff filed the pro- posed reorganization with LAFCO, which by resolution dated October 1, 1979, in compliance with Government Code Section 56430 et seq., approved said reorganization without notice and hearing and without an election on the detachment of the terri- tory from the San Diego County Flood Control District, Zone 3. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby finds and determines and orders as provided in Government Code Section 56430 et seq. as follows: Presented by 1. The territory proposed for reorganization (herein- after referred to as the Territory) is as described in Exhibit B attached hereto. 2. The description of the boundaries of the Territory conforms to lines of assessment and ownership. 3. The Council does hereby approve the proposed re- organization consisting of annexation of territory described in Exhibit B to the City of Chula Vista and detachment of territory described in Exhibit A from the San Diego County Flood Control District, Zone 3. 4. Pursuant to Government Code Section 56340 et seq. and the resolution of LAFCO, the City of Chula Vista does hereby order said reorganization without notice and hearing and without an election. 5. The City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution in accordance with Section 56450 et seq. of the Government Code.
