Resolution /t)~l" Appropriating funds for Chula Vista Band Review

Mr. Gerald P. May, Jr., President of the Chula Vista Band Review, appeared before Council
on September 16, 1980 to request City support for the 1980 Band Review and the waiver of
costs for the following City services and equipment:
Public Works labor ( delivery and pickup of barricades) $370
Equipment (delivery trucks) 100
Police Reserves 70
Barricade rental 70
Total $6IO
Council approved Mr. May's request. The $100 for equipment usage is budgeted in the Fiscal
Year 1980-81 budget, but the Public Works Division's labor, Police Reserves and barricade
rental are all unbudgeted items, which require out-of-pocket expenditure of funds.
RE<:n.1MENDATION: That Council approve a resolution appropriating $510 from the unappropri-
ated balance of the General Fund for the required out-of-pocket expenditures associated
with the Band Review.

FISCAL IMPACT
The unappropriated balance of the General Fund will be reduced by $510. The $510 will be
placed in the following accounts:
