NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that: 1. The Board of Supervisors be and is hereby urged to establish a policy that the county will share property tax revenue attributable to growth within an annexed area, on the same pro rata basis as currently exists in the annexing city. 2. Said policy be considered as an interim solution pending corrective state legislation. 3. The county include in its legislative program a proposal to join with the cities to seek an equitable solution to this problem at the next legislative session.
