The FY 1979-80 maintenance contracts for the City's open space districts have been
completed in accordance with contract documents and to my satisfaction.
RECOMMENDATION: That Council accept the maintenance work on Open Space Districts Nos. 1,
2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 as being complete and satisfactory in fulfillment of contracts between
the City, Mazon Landscaping Company, Inc., and Environmental Care, Inc.

DISCUSSION
On June 26, 1979, the City Council awarded contracts to Mazon Landscaping, Company, Inc.
for the maintenance of Open Space Districts Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7, and to Environmental
Care, Inc. for the maintenance of Open Space District No.4 during FY 1979-80. A final
inspection of all the open space districts has been completed and all work was found to
be completed in accordance with the contract documents and to the satisfaction of the
Director of Parks and Recreation.
