[ 19 ] CHULA VISTA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF: April 2 t 1974 ITEM TITLE: Resolution - Approving agreement with San Diego Transit Corporation for provision of inter-City bus service INITIATED BY: City Manager BACKGROUND On March 26, 1974, the City Council accepted staff's report on the San Diego Transit Corporation's Fiscal 1975 bus service proposal. At that timet the City Attorney was directed to incorporate staff recommendations and certain "1eve1 of service" provisions in a new contract. Such action has been taken and the agreement is now ready for Council approval. If new net cost to City is greater than contracted amount, then the difference between contracted amount and new amount will be paid by City to Corporation by increasing subsequent payments. B. If new net cost to City is less than contracted amount, then the difference between new amount and contracted amount will reduce payments by City to Corporation. C. If new net ,cost to City is less than contracted amount and City has paid the full contracted amount, then Corporation will reimburse payee (Local Transportation Fund) in the amount of the difference.
