[16 ] CHULA VISTA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF: January 8, 1974 ITEM TITLE: Resolution - Appointing the Registrar of Voters of the County of San Diego Deputy City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista to facilitate the execution of documents pertaining to the General Municipal Election INITIATED BY: City Clerk BACKGROUND This is a routine matter done for the sake of expediency. All the legal work is handled by this office - the Registrar of Voters supervises the mechanical end of the election and takes care of the printing of the ballots, stuffing the envelopes, setting up the precincts and COUnting the votes.
