State law generally prohibits the Council/GMOC/Planning Commission from discussing or taking action on any issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Council/GMOC/Planning Commission may schedule the topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff. REVIEW AND CONSIDERATION OF THE GROWTH MANAGEMENT OVERSIGHT COMMISSION'S (GMOC) 2010 ANNUAL REPORT Each year, the GMOC submits its Annual Rcport to the Planning Commission and City Council rcgarding compliance with threshold standards for the Growth Managcment program's elcvcn quality oflifc indicators. This year's report is abbreviated,!and focuses on five of thc clevcn quality of life indicators, including: Fire, Fiscal, Libr~ries, Police and Traffic. (Dcputy City Manager/Dcvelopment Scrviccs Director) I Staffrecommcndation: City Council conduct the public hearing and Planning Commission adopt the following resolution: RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ACCEPTING THE 2010 GMOC ANNUAL REPORT AND RECOMMENDING ACCEPTANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL City Council adopt the following resolution: RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ACCEPTING THE 2010 GMOC ANNUAL REPORT, AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO UNDERTAKE ACTIONS NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT REPORT RECOMMENDATIONS AS PRESENTED IN THE STAFF RESPONSES AND PROPOSED IMPLEMENTING ACTIONS SUMMARY ADJOURNMENT to the next regular City Council mecting on April 13, 20 I 0, tat 4:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers. The meeting of April 6, 2010, has becn canceled per Municipal Code.
