It is my RECOMMENDATION: That Council accept the subject easement. BOARDS/COMMISSIONS RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable. DISCUSSION: As a condition of approval of the tentative map for Chula Vista Tract 80-15 - Hidden Vista Village, the developer is responsible for the construction of the Rice Canyon trunk sewer from East "H" Street to the Spring Valley Outfall. That portion of the sewer to be constructed north of Bonita Road requires that an easement be granted to the City. Most of the sewer will be within the County of San Diego street right-of-way for Plaza Bonita Road, a portion of which is presently under construction. The remaining portion lies outside of said right-of-way, but still within County owned property. On March 10, 1981, the County of San Diego, a political subdivision, executed the necessary document to grant the easement within the Plaza Bonita Road right-of-way as well as the portion outside of said right-of-way. A small portion of the sewer has already been constructed in Plaza Bonita Road with the remainder (north of Bonita Road) scheduled for construction within the next few weeks. A plat is available for Council viewing.
