At the meeting of March 17, 1981, the City Council heard a presentation
from the Chairman of the Resource Conservation Commission and from a
Mr. John Rojas representing a group of interested citizens concerned
with preserving the history of Chula Vista. The presentation concerned
the need for $600 to process approximately 400 pictures for the local
history room.
RECOMMENDATION: that the Council approve the resolution appropriating
the sum of $100.00

DISCUSSION:

At the March 17 meeting, Chairman Taylor stated that the Resource
Conservation Commission was willing to pledge $500 of their unexpend~d
budgeted funds for this project and asked the City Council to
appropriate the additional $100 needed. The Council agreed and asked
that a resolution be brought back appropriating this money.
FISCAL IMPACT: Appropriate the sum of $100 from the unappropriated
balance of the General Fund and transfer to Account 100-0110-5213
(Historical Site Board - Photography and Blueprinting Account) .
