The project cost is significantly higher than the budgeted amount. Technical considerations
which arose during design made the project more expensive than originally contemplated during
the budget process.

There is approximately $85,000 available in unencumbered balance of the Traffic Signal
Fund. The transfer of $10,050 to TS-04 will provide sufficient funds to cover this project
cost. (NOTE: The project cost of $23,050 is approximately $7,000 less than the bid
previously received.)
