The current budget provides for one steer skid loader for use by the sewer maintenance
crew. Bids were received and opened in Conference Room 1, Public Services B1dg, at
3:00 P.M. on January 26, 1981 for the purchase of the loader. It is my
RECOMMENDATION: That Council accept bids and award the' contract to Miramar Bobcat, Inc.
DISCUSSION: Bid forms were mailed to five vendors. The following bids were received:

The low bid of Miramar Bobcat has been reviewed by the Equipment Maintenance Superintendent
and Street Maintenance Superintendent and concur that the equipment bid meets specifications
and is acceptable.

Purchase price, including sales tax, is $13,894.61.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Funds are provided for in account 100-1760-5568.
Budget estimate was $16,520.00.
