Resolution/bJJ7'- Accepting bids and awarding contract for rebuilding of
/ Mobil street sweeper '

The Council approved funds in the Street Division budget for this fiscal year to rebuild
the existing City street sweeper or to purchase a used one from the City of San Diego,
Subsequently, at the meeting of August 19, 1980, Council received a report from the
Development Services Administrator which recommended, after investigation, that we rebuild
the City's 1964 Mobil Street Sweeper and not purchase a used sweeper from San Diego.
Council accepted the report and authorized the rehabilitation of our sweeper. Therefore,
it is the Development Services Administrator's and my
RECOMMENDATION: That Council accept bids and award the contract to Donaher & Son, Inc.
