ORDINANCE NO. 1996
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AMENDING
CHAPTER 8, SECTION 8.08.070A OF THE CHULA VISTA
MUNICIPAL CODE ALL RELATING TO ANNUAL INSPECTION
FEES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY
HEALTH DEPARTMENT
By a unanimous vote of those present (Councilwoman
McCandliss was absent), the City Council placed
the ordinance on its second reading and adoption.
The County Health Department provides certain
services for the City of Chula Vista in the way of
health inspections for which they are paid a fee in
accordance with the schedule adopted by the County.
The City pays for these services within the incor-
porated area and in order to recoup the full cost,
it was necessary to amend the Municipal Code to
adopt the same health permit fees as those in the
County.
Copies of the ordinance are available at the office
of the City Clerk, City Hall, 276 Fourth Avenue,
Chula Vista, California.
