Daley Corporation has completed the construction of the Street Overlay
Program 1980-81 - Various Streets within City of Chula Vista,
California. It is my
RECOMMENDATION: That Council adopt resolution accepting the public
improvements.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Not applicable.
DISCUSSION:
Daley Corporation has completed the overlay of various streets within
the 1980-81 Street Overlay Program. All work was done in accordance
with the contract documents awarded August 12, 1980, by Resolution
10237. The contract is dated September 8, 1980.
A final inspection was made September 24, 1980 and all work was
completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. There is a tonnage
overrun of 100.16 tons or 6 percent of the contract quantity which
amounts to $3,359.72.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Authorized expenditure - $57,000
Contract amount - $51,891.50
Final construction cost - $55,251.22
