AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AMENDING
SECTION 2.04.020 OF CHAPTER 2.04 OF THE CHULA
VISTA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE SCHEDULING
OF DAYTIME CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
ordain as follows:
SECTION I: That Section 2.04.020 of Chapter 2.04 of the
Chula Vista Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 2.04.020 Meetings-Time and Place.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 306 of the
Charter, the council shall hold regular meetings in the
council chambers of the civic center, 276 Fourth Avenue
in the city, or in such other place as may be determined
by the council on the first, second, third and fourth
Tuesday of each month at seven p.m. Council may change
the time of the meeting to be held on the second, third
or fourth Tuesday of each month to permit a daytime
meeting. This action shall be accomplished by resolution
passed two weeks before the proposed daytime meeting.
When the day for any regular meeting of the council falls
on a legal holiday, no meeting shall be held on such
holiday.
SECTION II: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force on the thirty-first day from and after its adoption.
