HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1971-1337Form No. 329 Rev.10-67 ORDINANCE NO. 1337 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA FtPPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO SAID CITY OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS EL RANCHO DEL REY, PHASE 1 ANNEXATION The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does ordain as follows: WHEREAS, on the 4th day of May 19 71, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista did pass and adopt Resolu- tion No. 6048 giving notice of the proposed annexation of certain uninhabited territory to the City of Chula Vista, said territory being designated therein as the El Rancho del Rey, Phase 1 Annexation, and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 6048 contained a notice of the day, hour and place when and where said'- Council would hear protests made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, and WHEREAS, on said date tie Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation, and did determine that pro- tests had not been made by^lthe owners of one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as shown on the last equalized assess- ment roll, nor by public and private owners of one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said Council, and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Chula Vista, is uninhabited territory in the County of San Diego, and does not consist wholly or partly of tide or submerged lands owned by the State of California. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista as follows: SECTION I: That said Council does hereby approve the annexa- tion to the City of Chula Vista of that certain territory in the County of San Diego, State of California, designated as El Rancho del Rey, Phase 1 Annexation and that said territory, more particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof, the Same as though fully set forth herein be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Chula Vista.
