The vacancy was posted and was on the City's web site (see attached posting and press release) with an application deadline of May 8, 2009. Full Council interviews are scheduled for Wednesday, June 3, 2009 beginning at 6 pm. In accordance with the CVRC Bylaws, one or more Director shall have expertise and experience in the field of urban planning, urban development and/or environmental law. This is currently the only field of expertise not represented on the CVRC Board of Directors. We received four applications (see attached copies). Three applicants indicated urban planning, urban development and/or environmental law experience. If there is no objection, I am prepared to schedule all four applicants for interviews. If you have an objection to this and prefer to interview fewer applicants, please let me know by this Friday, May 15. If you have any questions, please let me know.
