HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1981-10617 RESOLUTION NO. 10617 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING AND ADOPTING UNIFORM BUILDING VALUATIONS The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Resolution No. 5656 endorsing the principle of uniform standards for building regulations throughout San Diego County, and WHEREAS, the San Diego Chapter of the International Conference of Building Officials has for many years recommended to their respective governing bodies the adoption of the building valuation multipliers published in the March-April issued of the Building Standards bimonthly publication, and WHEREAS, the existing building valuations approved June 27, 1978 and set forth in City Council Resolution No. 9185 are not uniform with the valuations proposed by the San Diego Area Chapter of the International Conference of Building Officials. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that Resolution No. 9158 be, and the same is hereby recinded. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby approve and adopt the Schuedule of Average Building Valuations, marked EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full. Tenant improvements shall be done under separate building permit; the valuation shall be determined by the Building Official. *** Single Familv Th.ellings (Subdivision): For subdivision with 10 or more single family dwellings which have plan check and building permit issuances in sums of 10 or more, the plan check fees and all-inclusive fees shall be decreased by 10'700 **** Alterations to Existing Structure (No additional floor area or roof cover including residential/commercial/industrial): Enclosed porch, sunshade, garage conversion, change from retail sales to restaurant, etc. -- difference in valuation per square foot between existing and new occupancy. /1-/D?I!
