Home My WebLink AboutReso 1981-10480 RESOLUTION NO. 10480 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA GIVING NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE ADOPTION OF THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-82 The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Chula Vista, Sections 1004 and 1005, the City Council is required to adopt a budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1981 and ending June 30, 1982, and ViHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of Finance of the City of Chula Vista have reviewed the requests and recom- mendations of the various department heads of the City, and have compiled a tentative budget for the fiscal year 1981-82 for the consideration of the City Council, and WHEREAS, at least ten days prior to the budget hearing, the proposed uses of revenue sharing funds, a summary of the entire proposed budget, and notice of the time and place of the hearing must be published in at least one newspaper of general circulation in the geographic area of the government, which material is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista and open to inspection by all interested parties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that notice is hereby given of intention to hold a public hearing to consider the adoption of the tentative budget as the budget and that Tuesday, the 16th day of June, 1981 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, California is hereby fixed as the time and place when all interested persons may appear and be heard in this matter. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and she is hereby directed to publish this notice at least once in an official newspaper at least ten (10) days prior to such hearing.
