HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991/04/16 Item 22 MEMORANDUM April 9, 1991 To: The Honorable Councilmembers From: ~ Leonard M. Moore, Mayor pro Tempore Subject: Request from Chula Vista Elementary School District RE: Joint Meetings On April 8, 1991, each of us received a letter from John Vugrin, superintendent of the Chula vista Elementary School District. This letter requested that the city council set up a series of meetings with a subcommittee of the Chu1a vista Elementary School District on a regular basis to discuss issues of mutual interest. This is an excellent idea to. set up a system of on-going communication between the two bodies. I am hereby recommending that the Council appoint two of its members to volunteer to serve with two members of the Elementary School Board, on an ad hoc basis. These meetings should be convened at a mutually agreeable time and commence in the very near future. I am asking for your appointments at the regular City Council meeting of April 16th. Thank you.
