STAFF PRESENT: City Attorney Harron, Deputy City Manager Morris
Chairman Cox announced that the meeting was called to go into

Mr. James Cappos expressed his concern regarding the way his case
has been handled by his Attorney adding that he did not have a
clear understanding of the final decision by the Court.
Chairman Cox asked if there is presently a tenant on Mr. Cappos'
property.
Mr. Cappos said there was it is a firm which converts sea water
to fresh water. Presently, they are on a month to month rental
since the lease expired. The last unit went out a week ago and it
took two 40" containers to ship the water, to Chile to the largest
copper mine in the world which feeds this drinking water to their
working people. Mr. Cappos added tht there are several similar
salt mines in the southwest and one in Chicago which is so large,
there is actually a City down below. It takes a large earth
moving equipment to drop the water down (by an elevator) to 30 or
40 floors. They have been using this ocean water for years.
Chairman Cox then announced the recess to go into Closed Session.
