ORDINANCE NO. 1251
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA, AMENDING SECTIONS 33.509, 33.511 AND 33.901 OF
THE ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO SETBACK AND LOCATION
OF SIGNS
The City Council of the City of Chula vista does ordain

SECTION I: That subsections D and F of Sections 33.509
33.511 be, and the same are hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 33.509. C-C Central Commercial Zone.
D. Signs. Sign area requirements are withheld pending
committee action, however, height and projection regu-
lations are as follows:
1. Maximum height, forty-five feet (45').
2. Maximum projection for signs shall be five feet
(5') beyond the building face. (This includes
roof, wall, fin, combination, and projecting signs
as defined by the Uniform Building Code.)
F. Area, Lot Coverage and Yard Requirements. The
following minimum requirements shall be observed, except
where increased for conditional uses:

ver the setbacks required in the zoning district.
SECTION II: That subsection 28 (c) of Section 33.901 be,
same is hereby deleted.
SECTION III: That any and all ordinances heretofore
dopted by the City Council of the City of Chula vista concerning
said administrative procedures be, and the same are hereby repealed
insofar as the provisions therein conflict with this ordinance.
SECTION IV: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
on the thirty-first day from and after its passage and approval.
