HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1974-7316 RESOLUTION NO. 7316 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ACCEPTING DEED FOR DEDICATING A PORTION OF TELEGRAPH CANYON ROAD FROM SWEETWATER UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that that certain Deed of Dedication for dedicating a portion of Telegraph Canyon Road, exe- cuted by the Sweetwater Union High School District, dated the 16th day of May, 1974, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference be, and the same is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and she is hereby directed to record said deed in the office of the San Diego County Recorder. DATED City Clerk DEED OF DEDICATION ~dlA.' iL.j~ /5-<.!.20 / >>[M...e 10 /t) If AAI 71/- THE SWEETWATER UNION IIIGH SCHOOL DIS'fRICT OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, does hereby dedicate to the City of Chula Vista, an easement of right of way for p~blic street and highway purposes over and across all that real property situated in the County of San Diego, State of California, belonging to said District and more particularly described as follows: That portion of the southerly half of Quarter Section 113 of Rancho de la Nacion according to Map thereof No. 166, filed in the office of the County Recorder, San Diego County, State of California on May 11, 1869, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Quarter Section 113, thence North 71006'36" East, a distance of 1259.29 feet per Parcel Map No. 104, records of said County, to the northerly right of way of Telegraph Canyon Road eR.S. 556) and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North 78021'00" West, a distance of 233.28 feet to ,the beginning of a tangent curve concave southerly, having a radius of 608 feet; thence westerly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 22003'45", a distance of 234.12 feet; thence South 79035'15" West, a distance of 209.04 feet; thence South 75028'00" West, a distance of 243.32 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave southerly, having a radius of 408.00 feet; thence westerly along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 14058'37", a distance of 106.65 feet to a point on the arc of a 300 foot radius curve, concave northerly, the cent&of which bears North 06002'38" East from said point; thence northwesterly, along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 02000'53", a distance of 10.55 feet to a point on the arc of a 589 foot radius curve, concave southerly, the center of which bears South 32006'29" East from said point; thence easterly, along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 21041'44", a distance of 223.03 feet; thence North 79035'15" East, a distance of 348.27 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave southerly, having a radius of 614.00 feet; thence easterly along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 22003'45", a distance of 236.43 feet; thence South 78021'00" East, a distance of 243.45 feet; thence South 71006'36" West, a distance of 11.81 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that in the event the use of said real property for public street and highway purposes is discontinued, said property shall revert to said District.
