Home My WebLink AboutReso 1974-7244 '"j: '" C~::;"L 1311 Form No. 356 ~r UY 'I l' W;;7 (;~...L.,_.fTli<.l 92f}i2 RESOLUTION NO. 7244 ~J_L:h RESOLUTION OF Tlill CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DETEEMINING THE MIOUNT OF MONEY HIIlCH SHOULD BE ASSESSED AGAINST CEI{TAIN PARO;r.S OF PROPERTY PRIOR TO MAKING SEI,EH CONNECTION BECAUSE OF BENEFIT RECEIVED BY SAID ~ARCELS BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER FACILITIES IN THE 700 BLOCK OF HILLTOP DRIVE The City Council of the City of Chula vista does hereby resolve as follows: HHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista has constructed or has caused to be constructed that certain sewer installation in the 700 block of Hilltop Drive, and HHEREAS, the City Engineer has filed his recommendations to the City Council, in writing with the City Clerk, setting forth therein the parcels which he has determined have benefited from the construction of said sewer installation in the 700 block of Hilltop Drive, and has set forth his recommendations as to the proportion of benefit received, and the amount of money which should be assessed against said parcels as a result of benefit received, which sum of money should be paid to the City of Chula Vista prior to any sewer connection being made to any sewer facillty of the City to serve said parcel, and HHEREAS, the City Engineer, in his recommendations, has ascertained that the City has incurred the cost of $ 4,890.00 for the construction of said sewer installation, and HHEREAS, the City Engineer, as part of his recommendations, has determined that the amount of money which the City is entitled to recelve by way of reimbursement for said construction, in accordance with Ordlnance No. 405, as amended, is $ 3,161.00 plus incidental expenses incurred by the City including englneerlng and .clerical expenses in order to obtain said reimbursement, in the amount of $ , for a total amount to be reimbursed to said City of $ 3,161.00 NOH, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vlsta as follows: , 1. That the construction of said sewer installation in the 700 block of Hilltop Drive has benefited those parcels as shown on thc pInt attached hereto and made a part hereof. -j- ((. 7J'-/f 1312 Form No. 356 Page 2 2. That the recommendations of the City Engineer, as filed with the Clty Clerk, are hereby approved and adopted, and the sum of Three Thousand One Hundred Sixty One Dollars lS hereby assessed against said parcels as a result of said benefit received, which sum of money shall be paid to the City of Chula Vista prior to any connection belng made to any sewer facility of the City to serve said parcel, all in accordance wlth the provisions of Ordinance No. 405. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula vista be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to record this document in the office of the San Diego County Recorder.
