HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1974-7452 j , ~~.s~ ,1Vl)s R - '1~f?1 RESOLUTION NO. 7452 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING PRECISE PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPHENT OF FOUR INDUSTRIAL WAREHOUSE BUIL- DINGS AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF BAY BOULEVARD AND G STREET IN THE I-P ZONE IN THE BAYFRONT AREA The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, on August 14, 1974, the Planning Commission by a vote of 4-1 approved the precise plan submitted by Charles Offerman for the construction of four industrial warehouse buil- dings for the development of 3.12 acres located at the northwest corner of Bay Boulevard and G Street in the I-P zone and within Sub-area E of the Bayfront Plan, and WHEREAS, a precise plan has previously been approved by Resolution No. 7287, and WHEREAS, the new precise plan as approved is subject to the conditions as set forth in Resolution No. PCM-74-l9 of the Planning Commission, attached hereto as Exhibit itA" and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full, in- cluding the site plan marked PCZ-73-N. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that the precise plan as submitted by Charles Offerman for development of 3.12 acres at the northwest corner of Bay Boulevard and G Street in the I-P zone in the Bayfront Area be, and the same is hereby approved subject to the conditions as set forth in Resolution No. PCM-74-l9 of the Planning Commission. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the previously adopted Resolution No. 7287 approving the precise plan of Dixieline Lumber be, and the same is hereby rescinded. Presented by Approved as to form by u. ~. '1 J/'S, ''- EXHIBIT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING TO THE ~ CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF PRECISE PLAN FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ~ OF PROPERTY AT 388 BAY BOULEVARD AS SUBMITTED BY CHARLES OFFERMAN RESOLUTION NO. PCM-74-19 /' WHEREAS, the City Council of Chu1a Vista on February 14, 1974 by Ordinance No. 1524, approved a change of zone for various parcels in the Chula Vista Bay Front Area, including the designation of the I7P zone for that certain property located at Bay Boulevard and G Street, and WHEREAS, said ordinance requires the approval of precise plans prior to the development of that property, and WHEREAS, on August 5, 1974 Charles Offerman requested consideration of plans submitted for industrial development of 3.1 acres located at the northwest corner of Bay Boulevard and G Street, and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission at a regularly scheduled meeting held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 14, 1974, in the Council Chamber at 276 Fourth Avenue, considered the precise plan for industrial development as submitted by Charles Offerman. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: The City Planning Commission recommends 'to the City Council the approval of precise plans submitted by Charles Offerman for the construction of four industrial warehouse buildings at 388 Bay Boulevard in the I-P zone, subject to the following conditions: 1. Site plan shall be revised to show: a. Separation of the northerly loading bay in Warehouse 1 from the parking lot. b. Main driveway off Bay Blvd. moved south to line up with interior d ri veway . c. Parking spaces and landscaped areas rearranged. . d. Parking spaces blocked by loading docks marked as "Employee Parking". 2. Development of the property shall be subject to site plan and architec- tura 1 revi ew. 3. Prior to issuance of any permits the applicant shall .provide documenta- tion of legally established parcel boundaries or shall file a parcel map. 4. Development of the property shall conform to the development criteria of the Bayfront Specific Plan. (City Council Resolution No. 7146, adopted , January 7, 1974) except as modified in these conditions of approval. 5. Installation of public improvements shall be subject to the approval of the Director of Public Works.
