NEW JERSEY 08540 August 22, 1974 Mr. William Robens Assistant Director of Public Works City of Chula Vista 707 "F" Street Chula Vista, California 92010 Dear Mr. Robens: In view of rising costs and a generally inflationary situation that we are all caught ln, Mainstem finds it necessary to increase its prices. In the past Mainstem has been able to absorb the great majority of cost increases by improving the efficiency of our operation and by continually adding to the volume of business we do. It is our hope that in the future we will continue to find ways to absorb at least some of the cost increases that face us. It is with regret that present price increases have been so large and occurred so quickly that we must pass on some of this to you. I am sure you realize this is the first price increase that Mainstem has put into effect with your organization. This letter will serve as an amendment to our proposal, dated July 12, 1971, to reflect the following changes: Monthly Service Price, as calculated at our current standard Pricing Policy Forms Prices (see attached) as currently structured All statements contained in our proposal, dated July 12, 1971, remain in effect except as follows: Pricing: Monthly service charge to be computed as follows: Price does not include Forms and Shipping. 1/ -h .
