HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1974-7432 Form No. 370 Rev. 9-67 7 RESOLUTION NO. 7432 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ELECTING TO PROCEED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941, DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA TO VACATE A PORTION OF MOSS STREET FROM 1-5 FREEWAY TO BAY BOULEVARD AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING THEREON The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: ~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has d~ermined that the public interest and convenience of said City re- quire the vacation ofa portion of Moss Street from 1-5 Freeway to Bay Boulevard. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the intention of the City Council to order the vacation of a portion of Moss Street from 1-5 Freeway to Bay Boulevard more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set forth herein. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby elects to proceed in making said vacation under the pro- visions of the Street Vacat10n Act of 1941, and hereby fixes Tuesday the 17th day of September , 1974 , in the Council Chambers in the CiV1C Center, 276 Fowrth Avenue, Chula Vista, California, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the pro- posed vacation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and he 1S hereby directed to cause a copy of this resol- ution to be publ1shed once in the Chula Vista Star News, a newspaper of general circulation publ1shed within the City of Chula Vista, and to cause notices of the passage of this resolution to be posted in the manner and form required by law. ~,{< 0< ..:-~::-.....,' ;':, Lane F.
