RESOLUTION NO. 10997
RESOLUTON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ORDERING THE VACATION OF INDUSTRIAL BOULEVARD BETWEEN
"K" AND "L" STREET
The city Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 10984 ,adopted on the 17th
day of Auqust ' 19 82 ,notice of intention to vacate and
close a portion of Industrial Boulevard between ilK" and "L" Street
in the city of Chula Vista was given, and
~vHEREAS, Tuesc'la~ ,the 7th day of September
19 82 ,at 7 :00 p.m. ,in t e Council Chambers of the city of Chu1a
vista were fixed as the time and place for hearing any objections to
such closing and vacating, and the Council having heard all interested
persons.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Chula Vista that that certain portion of Industrial Boulevard between
"K" and "L" Street
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set forth herein
be, and the same is hereby vacated.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
VACATING A PORTION OF INDUSTRIAL BOULEVARD
That portion of Quarter Section 165 of the Rancho de la Nacion,
according to Map No. 166 thereof on file in the Office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County, State of California,
described as 'follows:
Beg inning at a point hereinafter referred to as "point A", on the
Easterly line of the West half of the Northwest Quarter of said
Quarter Section 165 bearing N17047'26"W, 490.00 feet from the
Southeast Corner of said West half of the Norwest Quarter;
Thence S72012'34"W, 40.00 feet;
Thence N17047'26"W, parallel with Easterly line, 413.86 feet to a
point on Course (2) of the right-of-way line described in
Director's Deed to Lumber Purveyors, Inc. and San Diego Wood
Preserving Company, recorded May 21, 1974, Recorder's File No.
74-131784;
Thence from a tangent that bears N9051'32''W, along said Course
(2) being a curve to the left with a radius 3115.00 feet, through
an angle of 7000'46", a distance of 381.26 feet to the Southerly
line of a portion of Industrial Boulevard vacated by Resolution
No. 4211 of the City Council of Chula vista, recorded October
27, 1966; Recorder's File No. 172052;
Thence N72012'24"E, along said Southerly line, 50.60 feet to a
line parallel with and distant 40.00 feet Easterly of the
Easterly line of West half of the Northwest Quarter;
Thence, S17047'26"E, along said parallel, 793.74 feet;
Thence S72012'34"W, 40.00 feet to the point of Beginning.
Reserving therefrom the following easements:
To: City of Chula Vista
Reserving and excepting from vacation and abandonment to the City
of Chula Vista, an easement and right-of-way for, and the right
to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove or enlarge a
sanitary sewer and appurtenant structures in, upon, over and
across that certain real property situated in the County of San
Diego, State of California, and more particularly described as
follows :
A strip of land 10 feet in width whose boundaries lie 5 feet on
each side of and parallel to a line whose beginning lies
N72012'34"E, a distance of 12.50 feet from the aforementioned

Thence f:J17047'26"W, 793.74 feet to the most northerly boundary of
the parcel being vacated.
Together with the right to enter upon and to pass and repass over
and along said easement and right-of-way and to deposit tools,
implements and other materials thereon by said City of Chula
vista, its officers, agents and employees engaged by said City,
whenever and 'wherever necessary for the purposes above set forth.
To: Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company
Reserving and excepting from the vacation and abandonment,
easements and rights to The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph
Company, a corporation, at any time and from time to time, to
construct, maintain, operate, replace and remove aerial and
underground communication structures consisting of conduits,
cables, wires, poles and necessary fixtures and appurtenances
together with the right of ingress and egress to protect the
property from all hazards in, under and upon the following
described lands:
A strip of land 20 feet in width whose boundaries lie on each
side of and parallel to a line whose beginning lies N72012'34I1E,
a distance of 25 feet from the aforementioned point Ai
Thence Nl7047'26I1W, 793.74 feet to the most northerly boundary of
the parcel being vacated.
