RESOLUTION NO. 10984
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
ELECTING TO PROCEED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE STREET
VACATION ACT OF 1941, DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA TO VACATE A PORTION OF
INDUSTRIAL BOULEVARD BETWEEN "K" STREET AND "L" STREET
AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING THEREON
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has
determined that the public interest and convenience of said City
reauire the vacation of a portion of Industrial Boulevard between
"Krt Street and "L" Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the intention of
the City Council to order the vacation of a portion of Industrial
Boulevard between "K" Street and "L" Street,
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by
this reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set
forth herein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Chula Vista hereby elects to proceed in making said vacation
under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941, and
hereby fixes 7:00 p.m. ,the 7th day of September
1982 , in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 276 Fourth
Avenue, Chula vista, California, as the time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the pro-
posed vacation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city Clerk of the City
of Chula Vista be, and she is hereby directed to cause a copy
of this resolution to be publiShed once in the Chula Vista
Star News, a newspaper of general circulation published
within the City of Chula Vista, and to cause notices of the
passage of this resolution to be posted in the manner and form
required by law.

CLOSING A PORTION OF INDUSTRIAL BOULEY ARD
That portion of Quarter Section 165 of the Rancho de 1a N acion, according to
Map No. 166 thereof on file in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County,
State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of the West half of the Northwest
Quarter of said Quarter Section 165 bearing N .1704 7'26"W., 490.00 feet from the
Southeast Corner of said West half of the Northwest Quarter;
Thence S.720l2'34"W., 40.00 feet;
Thence N .170 47'26"W., parallel with said Easterly line, 413.86 feet to a point on
Course (2) of the right of way line described in Director's Deed to Lumber Purveyors,
Inc. and San Diego Wood Preserving Company, recorded May 21, 1974, Recorder's File
No. 74-131784;
Thence from a tangent that bears N.90 5l'32"W., along said Course (2) being a
curve to the left with a radius 3115.00 feet, through an angle of 7000'46", a distance
of 381.26 feet to the Southerly line of a portion of Industrial Boulevard vacated by
Resolution No. 4211 of the City Council of Chula Vista, recorded October 27, 1966;
Recorder's File No. 172052;
Thence N .720 12'24"E., along said Southerly line, 50.60 feet to a line parallel
with and distant 40.00 feet Easterly of the Easterly line of said West half of the
Northwest Quarter;
Thence, S.170 47'26"E., along said parallel line, 793.74 feet;
Thence, S. 720 l2'34"W., 40.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
