PUBLIC HEARING: GPA 94-02 - Consideration of an amendment to the Montgomery Specific Plan to change the land use designation from Institutional-Other to High Density- Residential (18-27 DUlAC) for the property located at 242 Kennedy Street - City Initiated PCS-94-01 - Consideration of tentative subdivision map for Kennedy Street Townhouses, Chula Vista Tract 94-01 - Kennedy 2S Limited Partnership The project proponent, Kennedy 2S Limited Partnership, has requested an indefinite continuation of the Public Hearing on GPA 94-02 and PCS-94-01 (see attached letter) in order to evaluate the economic feasibility of the proposed development, given recent School District requirements for full mitigation of project impacts on school facilities. If and when the applicant choses to pursue the requests, the items would be renoticed for a future Planning Commission hearing. We have recently become aware of additional costs involved with the project, ie., Mello Ros, which render the project unfeasible at this time. upon further research we shall contact you with our plans as for pursuing the project further.
