HomeMy WebLinkAboutRCC MIN 1983/06/20MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING RESOURCE CONSERVATION COMMISSION CITY OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA May 16, 1983 Conference Room 1, Public Services Building 5:30 p.m. ----------------------------------------- MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Taylor, Commissioners Griffin, Stokes, Hodson, Fox Hernandez and Weaver MEMBERS ABSENT: None CITY STAFF PRESENT: Environmental Review Coordinator Reid 1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Chairman Taylor called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL - Members present constituted a quorum for the transaction of business. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - MSUC (Stokes/Griffin) to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of :arch 7, 1983 (Commissioner Hodson abstained during Item #4). 4. OLD BUSINESS: a. Sammis Project - City Council approved GPA and subsequently a revised project has been submitted. Discussion of revised plan reduced environmental impacts and the relationship to the State Route 54/Flood Control Project. b. The status of East "H" Street between 805 and Southwestern College was discussed. c. Historical site markers status was presented along with publicity effort. 5. NEW BUSINESS: A. Noted the status of the following: a. E1 Rancho del Rey revised plan. b. Eastlake I Project c. Brandywine Project. B. The need to review the number of each type of business which could establish in the community. 6. COMMUNICATIONS (PUBLIC REMARKS/BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS/WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE) -None 7. ADJOURNMENT - Chairman Taylor adjourned the meeting at 6:05 p.m. to workshop.
