RESOURCE CONSERVATION COMMISSION
CITY OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA
July 30, 1984 Conference Room #l, Public Services Building 5:30 p.m.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Donovan, Vice Chairman Hodson, Commissioners Fox,
Edwards and Griffin
MEMBERS ABSENT: Commissioners Taylor and Hernandez (Excused)
CITY STAFF PRESENT: Environmental Review Coordinator Reid
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER:
Chairman Donovan called the meeting to order at 5:40 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL - Members present constituted a quorum.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: MSUC Hodson/Griffin (5-0) to approve the minutes of
July 16, 1984
4. San Diego Country Club - EIR 84-7
Environmental Review Coordinator Reid noted that the proposed condominium
project is located in the southwestern corner of the San Diego Country Club
and consists of 80 units on six acres.
Commissioners discussed type of condominiums as two story units, view,
trees, the existing shopping center, the State's noise regulations and
drainage.
MSUC Griffin/Hudson to recommend that the Planning Commission certify
that EIR 84-7 has been prepared in accordance with California Environmental
Quality Act. and the Environmental Review procedure of the City of Chula Vista.
5. COMMUNICATIONS (PUBLIC REMARKS/BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS/WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE)
a. Chairman Donovan is requesting withdrawal as Chairman. This item
was continued for discussion to the regular scheduled meeting to be
held September 17, 1984.
b. Commissioner Edwards apologized for his unexcused absences.
c. Board requested a copy of the report to the Council from Community
Development Department on the Greg Rogers House.
6. ADJOURNMENT - Chairman Donovan adjourned the meeting at 6:12 p.m. to
the regular scheduled meeting to be held on September 17, 7984 at 5:30 p.m.
