APPROVAL OF MINUTES - February 7, March 21, April 11, April
25, 1994
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Opportunity for members of the public to speak to Commission
on any subject matter within the Commission's jurisdiction but
not an item on today's agenda.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Addition to Designated Historical Site #44, 644 Second
Ave., including a modification to the roof structure to
allow a room for a large water heater and the increase in
the height walk-in closet on the second story. The RCC
has 30 days to file any objection to the proposed
additions with the City Manager.
2. Presentation by Indweller and Urban Ore, Znc. regarding
alternative transfer modes, multiple local facilities,
recovery and diversion capacity, cost effectiveness
accountabilities and control and other topics.
3. Application for used oil Block Grant. The California
Used Oil Inhancement Act provides for block grants to
local governments for used oil programs that encourage
recycling and avoid inproper disposal. It is proposed
that a regional application be made for the Cities of
Chula Vista, National City and Imperial Beach.
4. Review of Negative Declaration IS-94-18, Bonita Long
Canyon Streambed for a Gabion Channel including rock site
slopes cover by wire screen and an earthen bottom channel
located northerly and easterly of Fallbrook Court and
south and west of Acacia Ave.

1. Review of recent amendments to the Brown Act regarding
notification allowable discussion topics and close
sessions.
2. Discussion regarding the City Council action on the
Commissions fiscal 1994-1995 budget request.
