Conference Pu ibI'3:~'' S~rvq~$ 276 ~'otirEh Ave, Chu 1, Room 1 CALL MEETING TO ORDER ROLL CALL/MOTIONS TO EXCUSE <; APPROVAL OF MINUTES - D-tad 7.a-3rjsl Meeting of June 20th ern}-3~1}~:51,~; _ 1994 ~~ . _.-___ _ ORAL COMMUNICATIONS ---'----- Opportunity for members of the public to speak to Commission on any subject matter within the Commission's jurisdiction but not an item on today~s agenda. 1• EZR-94-02, Channel Side Shopping Center - The RCC will review an EIR involving 32.5 acres of land south of State Route 54 and to the east of National City Blvd. About 10 acres of the site would remain undeveloped and a 219,219 sq. ft. regional retail commercial center on the remaining land area. The RCC will consider making a recommendation to the Planning Commission regarding the EIR and perhaps the project. 2. City Landscape Manual The proposed revisions to the Landscape Manual have been under review. The RCC will be requested to make a recommendation regarding the document. 3• Ideas to Improve the Environment - The RCC made several recommendations regarding improving the environment. Several of these items were referred to staff to work with the RCC members. Staff is requesting direction from the RCC for a final report to City Council. 4• Stenciling at Drainage inlets The Commission inquired regarding the regulations on stenciling in the Public Right- of-Way adjacent to storm drain inlets, staff will make a presentation. 5.
