RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA CERTIFYING NEGATIVE
DECLARATION ISSUED UNDER IS-89-54 AND ACCEPTING
THE GRANT DEED FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 311 F
STREET, CHULA VISTA
The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Chula Vista, (hereinafter
referred to as Agency), does hereby resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the Agency is desirous of acquiring the rear portion of
located at 311 F Street, Chula Vista; and,
WHEREAS, ~1argaret Scott-Bl ai r and Hubert A. Chri stensen, herei nafter
to as "owners", have agreed to sell said property to the Agency; and,
: WHEREAS, the Agency and owners have mutually agreed upon a sales
,price and terms for the sale of the property located at 311 F Street; and the
"Agency and the owners have entered escrow for the sal e of sai d property, wh i ch
escrow that may not close until the Agency has accepted the grant deed for the
~roperty, attached to this resolution; and,

~. WHEREAS, an initial study IS-89-54, of possible adverse environmental
';impacts of the project was conducted by the Environmental Review Coordinator
on January 4, 1989, and the Envi ronmenta 1 Revi ew Coordi nator concl uded that
.;,there woul d be no si gni ficant environmental affects and recommended adopti on
:of the negative declaration.
. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the
tity of Chula Vista as follows:
._ 1. Based upon the Ini ti al Study, comments on the Ini ti al Study and
~egati ve Dee 1 ara ti on, the Redeve 1 opment Agency hereby fi nds that the
~cquisition of the property located at 311 F Street and development of a
public parking lot thereon will have no significant environmental impacts and
~dopts the negative declaration issued under IS-89-54.
'j 2. The Redevelopment Agency hereby accepts the deed for the property
located at 311 F Street from J~aroaret Scott-Blair and Hubert A. Christensen,
said deed attached hereto as fully setforth herein, and authorizes the payment
iof $131,900 escrow costs to complete the sale of the subject property.
3. Funds are avail ab 1 e in C IP account 995-9950-RD127B to fi nance
property acquisition.
