ROLL CALL: Councilmembers Alevy _, Moot _, Padilla _, Rindone _, and Mayor Horton _' CLOSED SESSION Unless the City Attorney, the City MaTlllger or the City Council states otherwise at this time, the Council will discuss and deliberate on the following items of business which are pennitted by law to be the subject of a closed session discussion, and which the Council is advised should be discussed in closed session to best protect the interests of the City. The Council is required by law to return to open session, issue any reports of final action taken in closed session, and the votes taken. 2. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR - Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 . Agency negotiator: John Goss or designee for CVEA, WCE, POA, IAFF, Executive Management, Mid-Management, and Unrepresented. Employee organization: Chula Vista Employees Association (CVEA) and Western Council of Engineers (WCE) , Police Officers Association (POA) and International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). Unrepresented employee: Executive Management, Mid-Management, and Unrepresented. 3. REPORT OF ACTIONS TAKEN IN CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT The meeting will adjourn to a CIP tour immediately following, thence to a Special Meeting of the City Council on September 17, 1996 at 5:30 p.m. and thence to the regular City Council meeting on September 17, 1996 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. NOTICE OF A CITY COUNCIL CIP TOUR NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista will meet on "F" Street in front of Council Chambers, located at 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista on Saturday, September 14, 1996 at 9:00 a.m. for a CIP tour. The tour will include: sidewalk projects in the area of the South Chula Vista Library (e.g. STL-219: Third Avenue from Anita to Zenith); MTDB right-of-way landscaping; business incubator (BEBC) facility at Rohr; Postal Service Data Conversion Center on Bay Boulevard; and the downtown telecenter.
