CITY OF CHULA VISTA AMENDING RESOLUTION " .:.
NO. 10807 REGARDING CRITERIA FOR PROJECT
ELIGIBILITY FOR INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL
BOND FINANCING
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista by
Reso 1 uti on No. 10807 has found it to be in the best interest fo.f;- the Ci ty to
sponsor Industrial/Commercial Bond financing in order to stimulate the
economic health and welfare of the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista by Resolution No. 10807
dated March 23, 1982 approved criteria for project eligibility for Industrial/
Commercial Bond financing; and,
WHEREAS, the Federal gover.nment has allowed certain rule
changes that provide for accounts receivable, industrial/commercial development
fi nanci ng;. and,
WHEREAS, the City has found it insits best interest to provide
criteria ~or such financing.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Amendment No. 1 to criteria
eligioility for industrial development bond financing be adopted and said
amendment is attached hereto and~:j,ncQr.por.at.ed:her.ein as though fully set forth
herein. .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said amendment will become part
of and incorporated as part of the criteria for Industrial and Commercial Bond
financing 'for the City of Chula Vista.

AMENDMENT #1 TO CRITERIA FOR PROJECT ELIGIBILITY
FOR. INDUSTRIAL .DEVELOPMENT BOND FINANCING
For institutions that request financing under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue
Service, the additional criteria shall apply as follows:
A. ELIGIBILITY - An institution must meet all the Internal Revenue
Service requirements for accounts receivable financing under
Internal .Revenue Service rule 501(c)(3) and be a health care
f~cility recognized as such by the State of California.
B. CREDIT RATING - An institution must have a credit rating that
is considered Investment Grade, or BBB, or better by a nationally
recognized rating service such as Moody's Investor Services,
Standard & Poor's, or other such entities in order to be eligible
for consideration of City sponsorship.

REQUEST FOR SPONSORSHIP OF REVENUE ~~ICIPATION NOTES
Upon1the effective date of Ordinance No. 2044, Bay General Community
Hospital agrees as follows:
1. To reduce room rates by $7.50 a d~y.
2. To provide a Cardiac Assessment and Health Education
Program for City of Chula Vista Public Safety
employees and management personnel.
3. To provide a Health Education Program on a one (1) year
basis to all permanent full-time City of Chula Vista
employees.
4. To continue providing health screening programs for the
community (see Attachment "A" for current programs),
and to expand this program to include additional
screenings such as hearing tests for infants, and
other suggestions which will be elicited from the
Chula Vista City School District. Screenings will
be conducted at the hospital's Health Information
Center and at various elementary school sites to
ensure easy access for all Chula Vista residents.
5. To continue to network with other health facilities
and community agencies (see Attachment "B").
