HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2006-031 RESOLUTION NO. 2006-031 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ACCEPTING STATE RECREATION GRANT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $840,000 FOR THE PER CAPITA GRANT PROGRAM UNDER THE CALIFORNIA CLEAN WATER, CLEAN AIR, SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS AND COASTAL PROTECTION ACT OF 2002 WHEREAS, in August 2005, Council approved by Resolution No. 2005-281, an application for grant funds for the Per Capita Grant Program under the California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks and Coastal Protection Act of2002; and WHEREAS, a Grant Contract has been executed, and the City awarded $840,000 in Per Capita Grant funds, which will be expended through the Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, the expenditure of grant funds will be administered and managed through the Capital Improvement Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby accept the State Recreation Grant Funds in the amount of $840,000 for the Per Capita Grant Program under the California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks and Coastal Protection Act of 2002.
