RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA MODIFYING THE PROJECT BUDGET OF
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT STM328 TO REFLECT
APPROVED FUNDING SOURCES AND TRANSFERRING
FUNDS THEREFOR
WHEREAS, in Fiscal Year 1998, Council approved the creation of capital improvement
project STM328 - I-80S/Olympic Parkway/East Orange Avenue Interchange Improvements; and
WHEREAS, funds totaling $2 1.8 million have been appropriated to the project budget;
and
WHEREAS, funds appropriated to the project include $13.8 million in local funds in
anticipation ofreimbursement from federal grant funds; and
WHEREAS, federal grant reimbursements totaling $5.7 million have been received and
deposited in the Transportation Development Impact Fee (TDIF) fund and must now be
transferred to the Federal Transportation Funds fund; and
WHEREAS, project expenditures to date must be transferred to reflect the modified
budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula
Vista hereby authorizes the modification of the project budget to reflect approved funding
sources and the transfer of revenues and expenditures between these funding sources.
