RESOLUTION NO. 11837
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA APPROVING AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA AND THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
FOR FIRE DISPATCHING SERVICES, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista that that certain Amendment to the
Agreement between the City of Chula Vista and the City of National
City for fire dispatching services, dated the 1.1 th day of
Deoember , 1984, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full, be, and
thee same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Amendment for and on behalf of the City of Chula
Vista.

AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AND THE CITY OF
NATIONAL CITY FOR FIRE DISPATCHING SERVICES
THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this 11th day of
December , 1984, by and between THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA, a
municipal corporation, and THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, a municipal
corporation;

WIT N E SSE T H :
WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista has heretofore entered
into an agreement with the City of National City to provide radio
dispatch services under the direction of the Chula Vista Police
Department for the National City Fire Department, and
WHEREAS, the charge for dispatching services is based
upon the salaries of Chula Vista Communications Operators, which
have been determined for fisal year 1984-85, and
WHEREAS, the City of National City agrees that it should
pay the charges based upon any increase in salaries of Chula Vista
Communications Operators for fiscal year 1984-85.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED by and between the
parties hereto that that certain agreement dated August 12, 1980
be, and the same is hereby amended insofar as Section 5 thereof is
,cerned, to read as follows:
Section 5.
Payment for Services.
The City of National City hereby agrees to pay to the
City of Chula Vista for fiscal year 1984-85 the annual
sum of TWENTY NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED THIRTEEN DOLLARS
AND NO CENTS ($29,913) in quarterly payments, payable in
advance. ..
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
Amendment to be executed the day and year first hereinabove set
forth.
