RESOLUTION NO. 11835
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA APPROVING PARTICIPATION WITH THE
COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO IN THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY FOOD
AND SHELTER PROGRAM
follows:
The City Council of the City of Chu1a Vista does hereby resolve as
WHEREAS, the City of Chu1a Vista has been notified of its allocation
from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in the amount of $26,991
for the provision of emergency food and shelter programs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Chu1a Vista has the option of participating with
the County of San Di ego in the provi si on of these programs on an area-wi de
basi s; and
WHEREAS, the County of San Di ego has previ ous1y recei ved FEMA funds
and has an established Local Board to set policy and distribute funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Chu1a Vista that the City Council shall participate with the County of San
Diego in the Federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program and merge its funds
with those of the County.
