RESOLUTION NO. 11799
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'rY OF CHULA
VISTA ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
TREE TRIMMING SERVICE IN THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA,
CALIFORNIA
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the following five bids were received and
opened at2:00 pm on the 16th day of October ' 19~_-,
in Confe~ence Room 5. Public Service BuildinaO the City of Chula
vista for tree trimminq service in the City of Chula Vista.

WHEREAS, it has been recommended that said contract be
awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, Western Tree Service
who has assured the City that he is a licensed contr~tor
in the State of California and can produce an accepta e perfor-
mance bond.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Chula vista does hereby accept said five bids, and
does hereby award the contract for said tree trimmina serv;c~ in the
ci ty of Chula Vista, CA to Western Tree Service in the ammmr e>1'
$28.975.50 to be completed in accordance with the
specifications as approved by the City Engineer
of the City of Chula Vista.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor
of the City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute said contract for and on behalf of the City of
Chula Vista.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amount of $31,900 is
hereby authorized to be transferred from Dept./Activity 1741
(Street Sweeping, Object Account 5269) to Dept./Activity 1750
(Street Tree Maintenance, Object Account 5298).
