RESOLUTION NO. 11902
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA CERTIFYING FINAL EIR-8S-1, BAYFRONT SPECIFIC
PLAN
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, EIR-8S-1 was prepared to consider the environ-
mental consequences of the implementation plan for the Chula Vista
Bayfront Local Coastal Plan, and
WHEREAS, said EIR is to serve as a master environmental
assessment and will facilitate future environmental review of
subsequent development plans by providing a data base to determine
the scope of additional environmental review, and
WHEREAS, the draft EIR was issued for public review on
November 2, 1984 and was the subject of a public hearing before
the Planning Commission on December 19, 1984, and
WHEREAS, all comments received at the public hearing
have been responded to and included in the final EIR.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista does hereby certify that final EIR-8S-1
has been prepared in accordance with the California Environmental
Quality Act, the State CEQA Guidelines, the Envirornlental Review
Procedures of the City of Chula Vista and that the City Council
has reviewed and considered the information in the final EIR.
